Nothing else in this class combines the keyboard, the matte display option, the physical port selection and the ability to open the machine and replace the SSD. For anyone writing or coding eight hours a day the ergonomics alone justify it.
It costs more than comparable consumer hardware and the speakers are mediocre. Lenovo's direct pricing swings wildly with sales, so the same configuration can differ by several hundred dollars month to month.
