Our review
The reason to buy this over a metal frame is the slat spacing. Foam and hybrid mattress warranties almost all specify a maximum gap between slats, and this clears it, so the frame replaces both the box spring and the base in one purchase.
The upholstered headboard is the weak point over time. The fabric collects dust, does not come off for washing, and the seven inches of clearance underneath rules out anything but flat storage boxes.
